A Quick Update....
Being home for Christmas was GREAT!!!... much more to come on that... Here a few pics... most of the pictures were taken by mom. I had uploaded them unto my computer, but since my computer's hard drive died I lost them all!

Ian and I after his hockey game!! I got to see him score a goal! I also got to see almost all of my students and former co-workers! I actually got to attend the special education department's Christmas Party! It was so wonderful to see everyone... wish I had more than 2 weeks!

Guides...
This week Christy and I were able to show Angela, from the Atlanta office, our beautiful city! I think our tour may have set a time record! We were able to show her many of our favorite sights and places and also see a new place... our tour included the pier, Little Fish Mountain, The Govenor's Guesthouse, Protestant Church, Catholic Church, our favorite place to eat- The Lennon Bar, Taidong to have her nails done, and The Purple Palace- where we like to get head massage/hair washed!

Dinner Party
This Friday Christy and I hosted a small dinner party... kind of a dessert party.... We invited our guests by passing around a valentine that one of Christy's students made that said "I hate Valentine's Day" If you agree with this, then please join us at....We had 4 of the girls from here over... we cooked up a chicken dish and a green salad...but then we served angel cake, made by Jane!!! topped with strawberries and whipped cream... we also had warm chocolate chip cookies and apple crisp topped with caramel and ice cream!

FIREWORKS...
For the last 3 hours the people of Jin Hai Guang Chang have been shooting off fireworks! While it was great around dinner time I am beginning to feel a little tired of all the noise and lights flashing... there are many car alarms going off as well... Happy Chinese New Year to all!!! It's only a week away... and then 2 weeks of vacation!!!
